What is the Portugal Golden Visa?
Established in 2012, the Golde Visa is a program that will grant third-country nationals a temporary residence permit through an investment activity in Portugal, allowing you to:
Enter Portugal without a residence visa.
Reside, study, and work in Portugal, or stay just 7 days a year.
Circulate in the Schengen area without a visa.

What Kind Of Investments Are Eligible?
Acquisition of shares in non-real estate collective investment entities (Investment Funds) €500K
Activities of artistic output, reconstruction or maintenance of the national heritage for €250K as a sponsorship
Research activities in the scientific or technologic areas for €500K
10 Jobs creation
Companies incorporation or capital reinforcement of €500K + 5 job position
Acquisition of shares in non-real estate collective investment entities (Investment Funds) €500K
The investment must be maintained for at least the duration of the Golden Visa
At least 60% of the capital of the fund must be invested in Portuguese companies
The funds must have a minimum maturity of 5 years
The fund must be registered with CMVM

What are the Investment Funds Requirements?
The applicant must be a non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizen
The main applicant must be at least 18 years old
Clean criminal record from their current country of residence and Portugal
Obtain a Portuguese Tax ID number (NIF)
Open a bank account in Portugal after obtaining a Portuguese tax ID number (NIF)
All non-Portuguese documents need to be legalized through an apostille and translated into Portuguese
The investment capital to fund the investment must come out of Portugal, and the investor must be ready to prove the legality of the origin of funds
The investor must hold the investment for at least 5 years
